Supplements
We cover 4 supplement topics: creatine monohydrate, whey-based protein powder, omega-3 from fish oil, and the multivitamin. Each topic sets out what has been demonstrated, what has not, and which wording is legally permitted. We sell no supplements and have no commercial interest in any brand.
Why four and not forty
Our own working files hold more supplements than these four, including dosages. They are not here, and that is a deliberate choice on three grounds. First, they are personal coaching prescriptions: a dose that fits one programme is not public advice. Several of those dosages also sit above the European reference intake, and that does not belong in a reference work nobody is reading over your shoulder. Second, that file contains third-party partner and affiliate links; we carry no commercial links at all. Third, it lists botanical preparations for which the European assessment of health claims has not been completed, and about those nothing can currently be written that is both honest and permitted.
What we do write per topic
Every page follows the same structure: what the substance is, what the permitted claim says about it verbatim with the regulation named, the condition under which that claim applies, and a separate section on what has not been demonstrated. That last section is not there for show. The entire field these pages land in consists of parties that also sell the product, and the counterweight then disappears from the text by itself. We keep claim and dosage in separate paragraphs, because a permitted claim holds only within its own condition; put a different quantity beside it and the claim stands outside the context in which it is allowed.
Where this sits in a coaching programme
Almost never at the front. What someone eats, how the week is organised and how much they sleep decide the outcome by an order of magnitude no tub can match. Supplements come up with us only once those three are in order, and even then as a closing item. We earn nothing from that order of priority, which is exactly why we can write it down this plainly.
Frequently asked questions
Do you sell supplements?
No. We sell no supplements and have no commercial interest in any brand. These pages carry no product links, no affiliate links and no brand names.
Why are there no dosages from your own programmes?
Because those are personal coaching prescriptions and several of them sit above the European reference intake. What fits one programme is not public advice.
Which topics do you cover?
4: creatine monohydrate, whey-based protein powder, omega-3 from fish oil, and the multivitamin. All four are written by hand and individually checked against the claims register.
